This week has been busy with behind the scenes features and planning for upcoming releases, while this changelog may be less feature packed than previous changelogs we certainly haven't stopped shipping improvements. We'll be releasing "Asset Ending" (also known as end of lease, closing of an asset). Loads of Bug Fixes and improvements.
Asset Ending
This has been a long awaited feature, How do we end/transfer a asset in the Karia system, but today it'll be rolling out to selected users over the coming weeks, We've tried to find the right balance between manual and automation in this specific flow - Please let us know if you've got some feedback.
Let's begin:
Fleet Ending Overview
You'll first see a new sidebar menu item called "Asset Ending" this shall give you context on what assets are ending and what are the status of each Ending flow.
In the above image you can see we have a set of pre-defined filters which will help you navigate the process.
What assets are ending within a timeframe
90 Days.
60 Days.
30 Days.
Along side those filters you'll also see status based filters
Reconciling - Assets that have started the ending process.
Overdue - Assets that have had there end date pass.
Closed - Assets that have been successfully closed.
Asset Ending Process
The asset ending process, we've come up with hopefully gives you enough context on the asset to help finish it. To begin the flow you just open an asset up and navigate to a new menu item called
"Close Asset" this will give you a breakdown of next steps (see below gif)
Once the process has begin it'll give you a live view of all the items that need to be completed before you can close an asset and will give you tooltips to help you navigate through the system to complete this.

Fixes: edge case when deal assignee would not appear causing 500 error
Fixes: Edge case when assets say in the asset importer without being imported, had the newly expose LVA(Exposed last weeks changelog) field not showing up in certain edge cases.

Show actual next payroll date instead of invoice run date in payroll group card employer overview
